Stem Cell Stars Seminar: Overcoming Chromatin Barriers to Change Cell Fate
Join us for another "Stem Cell Stars" Seminar hosted by Lund Stem Cell Center, this time with Professor Kenneth S. Zaret, Director of the Institute for Regenerative Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, USA!
Professor Zaret's expertise in gene regulation and stem cells has led to numerous discoveries in the field. His discoveries include "pioneer factors", a signaling network now used to generate liver and pancreatic cells, and techniques to transform specialized cell types. He has also developed a stem cell-like line from human pancreatic cancer cells to identify a novel regulatory network in early stages of pancreatic cancer.
Join us for a coffee and mingle with fellow researchers after the seminar to network and share ideas. This event is open to everyone from the Faculty of Medicine, so come and be inspired by this superstar of stem cell research!
